Summer’s coming to an end, and I couldn’t be more excited because…BOOTS and spiked hot chocolate. But seriously, I will truly miss you fruity, fizzy, captivatingly colorful, and oh-so-Lushworthy drinks of summer. You were a true and dear friend throughout these sweltering, summer months. With Labor Day serving as the unofficial end to summer, it’s time to gather the freshest of fruits, some worthy mixers, and a few bottles for some end of summer libations. Check out a few Labor Day-inspired cocktails, below!

Shimmer Citrus Punch – Created By Cali Mixers (Pictured Above)

INGREDIENTS

¾ part Ruby Viniq ½ part Amsterdam Pineapple vodka 1 part Sweet N sour

½ part Pineapple juice

Combine ingredients in punch server. Garnish glass with pineapple, orange wheels. Garnish with pineapple orange wheels and cherries.

Before I go on a mass texting spree in the hopes of figuring out what “the move” is this Fourth of July weekend, I figured it seemed only right to share a handful of Independence Day inspired cocktails with you guys. Below, you’ll find my personal Fourth of July picks from brands including from Belvedere Vodka, Basil Hayden’s, Courvoisier, and more.

Cheers! And be sure to keep safe this weekend. (Remember to keep a bucket of water on hand if you plan on celebrating with your own fireworks. I heard that on the news yesterday and for some odd reason felt compelled to share.)

​Himalaya Blues (Pictured Above)

INGREDIENTS

1 oz Snow Leopard Vodka ½ oz Blue Curacao ½ oz Lemon Juice 3 oz​ Sprite 1 Mini Rose

1 Lemon Wedge

DIRECTIONS

Combine Snow Leopard Vodka, Blue Curacao, and lemon juice in a shake with ice. Shake and strain into highball glass. Add ice, top with Sprite, and add a mini rose and lemon wedge garnish.

Cupid must have had a serious affinity for cocktails because Valentine’s Day is easily one of the most Lushworthy of holidays. Whether you and your boo plan on having an at home date night this Valentine’s Day, or if you plan on turning up at a V-Day house party (*slowly raises hand*), the cocktails are sure to be flowing. Stumped on ideas for V-Day inspired dranks? Fret not, I’ve compiled a list of nine Valentine’s Day cocktails for both the sweethearts and the love-haters. Check ’em out below!

D’USSE Devotion (Pictured Above)

INGREDIENTS

1.5oz D’USSE VSOP Cognac ¾ oz Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice ¾ oz House made Cinnamon Simple Syrup* 1 oz Hard Cider

Dash Angostura Bitters

DIRECTIONS

Combine the D’USSE, Lemon Juice, Cinnamon Syrup, and Angostura Bitters in Shaker. Shake and serve up in a coupe glass. Finish with Hard Cider and a little stir.

The Cinnamon syrup is made by adding cinnamon sticks to boiling water until the water begins to take on a brownish hue, then adding equal parts sugar to the water to create a 1 to 1 syrup.

The Hotel Lobby

INGREDIENTS

1 ½ parts Skinnygirl Meyer Lemon Vodka 2 parts club soda Muddled raspberries

Fresh lemon twist to garnish

DIRECTIONS

Muddle raspberries in a glass and add ice. Pour ingredients and stir. Garnish with a fresh lemon twist.

Let’s be honest here, I’m sure we can all make room for a Hot Toddy any day of the year, but today in particular is an ideal day to indulge in this boozy, steamy drink given that it’s National Hot Toddy Day. Yes, National Hot Toddy Day. No need to head to Target to cop mugs for loved ones or send your neighbor a “Happy Hot Toddy Day” card to celebrate this Lushworthy holiday, but you can check out one of the Hot Toddy recipes below to take full advantage of National Hot Toddy Day. Bulleit Hot Toddy (Pictured Above)

INGREDIENTS

1.25 oz. Bulleit Bourbon 1 tsp. fine grain sugar 2 small clove(s)

1.5 oz. boiling water

DIRECTIONS

Add Bulleit Bourbon, fine grain sugar and cloves in a mug. Add boiling water. Stir.

You’ve got enough to worry about during the holidays, so you’re choice in cocktails should be the last thing on your mind. In fact, I’ve created a list of six, holiday-friendly cocktails that are definite go-tos this holiday season. That way the only thing you have to worry about in the coming weeks is not burning down your kitchen with another deep-fried turkey attempt, keeping your uncle away from the gin during Thanksgiving dinner, and you know, all that other fun holiday stuff.

Baileys Salted Caramel & Crown Royal Regal Apple (Pictured Above) – I’m not sure about you guys’ family, but for some reason my fam tends to go IN on the Baileys during the holiday season. So, why not add a tangy twist to your Baileys on the rocks this season with a splash of the new Crown Royal Regal Apple?

INGREDIENTS

1 oz. Baileys® Salted Caramel Irish Cream Liqueur 0.5 oz. Crown Royal® Regal Apple Flavored Whisky

0.25 oz. Caramel syrup to rim shot glass1 green apple slice

DIRECTIONS

Mix ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a shot glass rimmed with caramel. Garnish with an apple slice.

‘Tis the season of the pumpkin and as expected, the pumpkin-inspired recipes are coming out of the woodwork these days. I’ll admit that I’m not a pumpkin fanatic. You won’t find me at Starbucks ordering a spiced pumpkin latte with a slice of pumpkin bread and I was probably a kiddo the last time I carved a pumpkin. Although I’m not a fanatic,  I do enjoy the flavors that tend to accompany anything pumpkin.

I’ve had the idea to create a fall-inspired remix on the classic White Russian cocktail for a few weeks now, so when I received a bottle of Pinnacle Pumpkin Pie Vodka the idea for the Pumpkin Pie White Russian immediately came to mind. Instead of Kahlua I used coffee syrup and for a little added flair I added coffee ice cubes to my Pumpkin Pie White Russian.

The end result was an easy-to-make and boozily, decadent treat for all the pumpkin lovers out there. Check out the recipe below, cheers!

INGREDIENTS

1.5 oz. Pinnacle Pumpkin Pie Vodka

4 oz. Milk

3/4 Tbsp. Autocrat Coffee Syrup (Feel free to use any other brand)

DIRECTIONS

In a shaker add milk and coffee syrup. Stir and add Pinnacle Pumpkin Pie Vodka. Add ice and shake. Strain contents into a glass already filled with coffee ice cubes*. Enjoy!

(To make coffee ice cubes, add cooled, lightly sweetened coffee to an ice tray. Freeze overnight.)
