Havana Central Heats Up NYC With Their Latin-Inspired Hot Cocktails

I lived in New York City long enough to know that it’s about get real, real cold in the next month or so. And while staying in your house where the heat is blasting and the VH1 reality shows airing on your TV are endless may seem like the smart option, if you want to remain toasty there’s lots of other more exciting ways to stay warm. For instance Midtown’s Havana Central is serving up three different Latin-inspired hot cocktails that are sure to warm you up right away. And on top of that they all sound absolutely delicious. Below is a brief description of each of the cocktails as well as prices.

Latin Hot Chocolate with Rum – Made with milk, cinnamon, Mexican vanilla, Mexican sweet chocolate and golden rum; topped with a dollop of whipped cream, brown sugar and a dash of red pepper. $10

The Hot Cubano – A traditional shot of strong Cuban espresso mixed with dark rum and coffee liqueur; topped with cream, powdered hot chocolate and cinnamon. $9

Hot Farmer’s Market Cider. An apple cider made with golden rum, apple cider, honey, cloves and a touch of allspice; garnished with a cinnamon stick. $9

All of the cocktails above will be served at Havana Central until spring of this year.
