Let’s face it, any Super Bowl party without Lime-A-Ritas really isn’t much of a party. But if you find that serving Lime-A-Ritas, SOTC (straight out of the can) is a little boring, then boy have I got the fix for you. What’s this fix, you ask? Lime-A-Rita Punch! And yes, it’s just as amazing as it sounds. It combines three different Lime-A-Rita flavors (Lime-A-Rita, Straw-Ber-Rita, and Raz-Ber-Rita) and receives an added kick thanks to the addition of fresh lime juice and tropical punch.
It’s super easy to make, so no need to be cooped up in the kitchen all day when the New England Patriots get their behinds handed to them on Sunday. Also, the recipe below is big batch-friendly (just add extra lime juice), so you can make a bunch at one time if you’re short on time. Enjoy!
1 Part Lime-A-Rita 1 Part Raz-Ber-Rita 1 Part Straw-Ber-Rita 1 Part Minute Maid Tropical Punch Splash Of Fresh Lime Juice Lime Wedge
Build all ingredients in a glass (all three Lime-A-Ritas and Minute Maid Tropical Punch). Add a splash of lime juice. Stir and add ice. Garnish with lime wedge and maraschino cherry.

With summer slowly beginning to wind down, I think we can officially crown the adult beverage that made the most impact this summer. It was the go-to drink during those festive outdoor get-togethers and a favorite among you and your crew. As you can probably tell from the picture above, I personally feel that Bud Light Lime’s Lime-A-Rita and Straw-Ber-Rita’s reigned supreme this summer. Why exactly was the duo so popular? For one, they’re extremely convenient. I mean, it’s really hard to pass on the allure of a margarita in a can. And for a ready-to-drink beverage they’re pretty tasty and according to some, a little on the strong side as well.
While Bud Light’s line of ready-to-drink margaritas may have reigned supreme, it did have some strong competition including SVEDKA Vodka’s Strawberry Colada and Orange Cream Pop vodkas. Easily mixable and enjoyable on the rocks, Strawberry Colada and Orange Cream Pop proved to be great summer flavors. Another runner-up included Skinnygirl and their four latest additions: Skinnygirl Mojito, Skinnygirl Sweet N’ Tart Grapefruit Margarita, Skinnygirl White Cherry Vodka, and Skinnygirl Moscato. Cocktails and ready-to-drink beverages that are low on the calories seemed really popular this season and Skinnygirl has a pretty solid track record of releasing products that are easy on the waist line.
What adult beverage do you feel reigned supreme this summer? Do you think Bud Light Lime’s Lime-A-Rita and Straw-Ber-Rita’s were the most popular adult beverages this summer?
