As with most events these days, the 3 Little Digs were in full effect at the Atlanta Qream Liqueur launch to capture it all on film. At this point I’m pretty sure the fella’s could film a four-year-old’s birthday party and make it look more exciting than a Diddy White Party. They’re just that good.
Pharrell and the folks over at Diageo really went all out for their Atlanta Qream Liqueur launch. Rather than hosting the event at a random lounge or club they chose to have the event at a private mansion in Buckhead. The venue really was breathtaking and I’m glad they didn’t take the typical launch event at a club route. It was much more intimate.
We all arrived at the mansion via shuttle bus which dropped us off in front of the mansion which was illuminated with bright pink lights. While the event took place outside at the pool area there were still quite a few Qream-influenced decorations on the inside, mostly pale pink and orange flowers. I’ve been eager to try Qream for quite some time so you know the first thing I had to do was get a drink. The first drink I tried was the “La Reine Magnifique” which consists of Strawberry Qream and coconut-flavored vodka. Of the various Qream drinks I tried last night I have to say that this one was my favorite. As I mentioned before on here I’m not a huge peach fan so I had to pass on the Peach Qream drinks. But I did try the Strawberry Qream straight and mixed with Godiva liqueur (“Chocolate Dipped Strawberries”).
Aside from the Qream cocktails there was also a number of tasty treats circulating throughout the night and they included my new favorite shrimp corndogs, miniature lemon cupcakes, fries with sea salt, and of course the mandatory slider’s. Jermaine Dupri and DJ Tracy Steele provided the tunes for the evening and other celebrities spotted included former Atlanta Falcons player Jamal Anderson, DJ Drama, Chilli, and more.

Quite frankly, there usually aren’t many drink recipes for the cream liqueurs on the market. When it comes to cream liqueurs you usually throw in a few ice cubes, stir it up a bit, and call it a day. But after doing a bit of research I came across three interesting cocktails that are created using the brand new Qream Liqueur. And if you don’t have a serious sweet tooth you may want to pass on these recipes.
Chocolate Dipped Strawberries
3 parts Qream Strawberry
1 part Godiva Chocolate Vodka
Combine Qream Strawberry and Godiva Chocolate Vodka in a martini glass. Garnish glass with a sliced strawberry.
3 parts Qream Peach

Combine Qream Strawberry and Ciroc Coconut in a martini glass. Garnish glass with a sliced strawberry.
To say that the New York City launch party for Pharrell Williams’ Qream Liqueur was “star-studded” would be an understatement. When Jay-Z and Russell Simmons are in the building you’ve clearly surpassed “star-studded.” The event took place last night (July 20) at the New York Public Library and others in attendance included rapper/producer Swizz Beatz, supermodel Selita Ebanks, DJ Khaled, former A Tribe Called Quest frontman Q-Tip, and much more. So Qream, how about that Atlanta launch party? We’re cool too ya know.
First off, Pharrell gets all his “lush points” taken away for stating that he’s “not much of a drinker” while at the same time promoting a brand new liquor. I find that a little odd, but maybe that’s just me. Anywho, Pharrell celebrated the launch of Qream Liqueur (a partnership with Diageo) in Beverly Hills last night and to be honest it sounds like he’s got himself a nice little product. The line will consist of strawberry cream and peach cream flavors and will retail for about $29.99 per bottle.
