My apologies if I’ve been slacking when it comes to new posts, but about a week and a half ago I was sent an invite to Grey Goose’s Le Voyage immersion trip taking place in France this week. (I leave Atlanta this evening!) So on top of being uber-excited about the trip I had to apply for my passport, which I thankfully received in record time, so my mind has been all over the place lately! I was also in Pittsburgh last week checking out all their Lushworthy destinations as part of a media trip (lookout for some content on that in the near future). So needless to say it’s been a crazyyy two weeks! But back to Le Voyage…
I’ll be joining about eight other bloggers/writers for a first-hand look at what goes into creating Grey Goose, “World’s Best Tasting Vodka.” The trip starts in the Picardy region of France where we’ll meet Grey Goose Maître de Chai, François Thibault and take a tour of the wheat farms used by Grey Goose. From there it’s on to Cognac, France (via TGV) for an even deeper look into the world of Grey Goose.
On top of posting on Twitter/Instagram (using hashtag #LeVoyage), I’ll also be adding journal style entries to the site once I return. And to keep it Lushworthy I’ll conclude each journal entry with the drink recipe for a Grey Goose cocktail that most reflects my experience that particular day. And I’ve gone ahead and listed my Twitter/Instagram info below. Au revoir!
