Chances are you’ve had a boozy float in your lifetime. But have you had a boozy float made with your own liquor-infused ice cream? If you haven’t, you’ll be happy to hear that while it may sound complex, making your own booze-infused ice cream is actually pretty easy. The booze of choice for my ice cream was Southern Comfort Caramel, which is a whiskey liqueur. Since it is a liqueur, it freezes a little easier than most spirits, and it’s also rather sweet, which makes it absolutely perfect for ice cream.
And when I say liquor-infused ice cream is easy to make, we’re talking “three-ingredient-throw-it-in-the-freezer-and-watch-the magic-happen” easy. You can find both the Southern Comfort Caramel Ice Cream, and boozy float recipe below. Cheers!
Homemade Southern Comfort Caramel Ice Cream
1 Pint Cream 1 Can Of Sweetened Condensed Milk
9 oz. Southern Comfort Caramel
Pour cream in bowl and whip to semi-stiff peaks. Add condensed milk and stir. Add Southern Comfort Caramel and stir. Pour mixture into a flat, freezer-safe container. Allow to freeze overnight. (This is your own creation, so have fun with it! Feel free to add nuts, syrups, etc. to your ice cream mixture)
2 Scoops Homemade Southern Comfort Caramel Ice Cream Coca-Cola
1 oz. Southern Comfort Caramel (Optional)
Place Southern Comfort Caramel Ice Cream in a glass. Fill glass with Cola-Cola. Top off with Southern Comfort Caramel if you’re feeling extra Lushworthy.
I truly enjoy entertaining, but let’s face it, by the time you’ve finished prepping, pouring, and plating, it’s likely that you’ll end up feeling like a drowsy zombie. And that’s no good if you actually plan on enjoying time with your company. To help you guys out a smidge with your at-home-entertaining, I’ve come up with a prosecco cocktail, and appetizer recipe that will have you out of the kitchen in about 10 minutes or less.
The cocktail I created calls for VOVETI prosecco and maraschino cherry juice. For those of you who aren’t familiar with VOVETI, it’s a chic, modern Italian prosecco that embodies affordable luxury and classic style. As an added perk, VOVETI is upscale and affordable, ideal for everyday pairings or chic entertaining with friends. My cocktail, which I’ve dubbed the “Cherry Fizz” is perfect for a girl’s game day get-together, Sunday brunch, or any other gathering with friends. It’s sweet, tart, and has a nice amount of fizz thanks to the addition of VOVETI, which is a collaborative effort between the Collavini family and the Ferrer family. Each family brings four generations of sparkling wine expertise to the table.
It’s fall! Time for sipping on boozy treats, rocking killer boots, and snuggling up to a good 1.5-star movie on Netflix. With that being said, there clearly isn’t enough time to do all that and slave away at your bar cart making cocktails with extensive ingredients lists. So, I’ve compiled a list of five, three-ingredient fall cocktails that are definitely the move this season. Check ’em out below. Cheers!
Apple Cider Sangria – Red wine, Crown Royal Apple, and apple cider.
So, last year my cousin and I started what’s likely going to be a new tradition, and that is a Thanksgiving Sangria Battle! We each make our own sangria and let the fam choose who the winner is. I think I lost last year. Haters. But my Apple Cider Sangria was on point!
Spiked Nutella Hot Chocolate – Wild Turkey Spiced Bourbon, Nutella, and milk.
It’s here! It’s here! My first ever recipe video is now live on YouTube! With the fall season in full swing, I opted for a “skinny” version of a boozy, apple cider. I hope you enjoy! And if you do, be sure to “Like.” The full “Skinny Spiked Cider” recipe can be found in the video description. Cheers!

What do you do when you get your hands on a huge bag of mini Butterfingers? You eat them all while binge-watching your favorite television show on Netflix. Kidding, of course. You break out your Bulleit Bourbon and make shots! I initially planned on making this a full-size cocktail, but it’s pretty decadent, and aren’t we all trying to keep things somewhat light for bikini season? Also, shots are wayyy more fun.
Check out the recipe for my Bourbon Butterfinger Shake Shots below. Cheers!
Bourbon Butterfinger Shake Shots (Makes 6-8 Servings)
3 oz. Bulleit Bourbon 2 tbsp. Caramel Sauce 2 oz. Milk 3 Mini Butterfinger Bars
7 Ice Cubes
Crush one mini Butterfinger bar to sprinkle on top of shots as a garnish. Add a small layer of caramel sauce to shot glasses and set aside. Add Bulleit Bourbon, caramel sauce, milk, ice cubes, and two mini Butterfinger bars to a blender. Blend and pour into shot glasses. Garnish individual servings with crushed Butterfinger.
