Another weekend, another beer festival here in Atlanta. Earlier this month I had the opportunity to check out the first ever Hip Hop Craft Beer Festival and this weekend yet another brew extravaganza rolled through the city. This time it was the Brookhaven Beer Festival and the event featured well over 150 different brews as well as wine. And as a Lushworthy bonus there was even an appearance from a tequila brand during the festival. As opposed to the Hip Hop Craft Beer Festival this was an outdoor festival that boasted a pretty sizable crowd. At times it got to be a little cramped despite everyone being outside, but it was still pretty manageable.
Although I had the opportunity to try a number of brews at the festival I have to say that my favorite was the Frozen Pints craft beer ice cream. It was so good! I was able to sample the Vanilla Bock and Brown Ale Chip flavors and both were delicious. Like other foods that are made using liquor or beer you won’t get tipsy off of Frozen Pints, but I’m pretty sure most beer lovers will be impressed with the touch of brew added to their favorite ice cream flavors.
All in all it turned out to be another great beer festival, but I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves
