It’s no secret that cocktails are loaded with calories, but over the past few years a number of brands have introduced a series of low-calorie spirits. Joining the ranks of the calorie-conscious is now Smirnoff Vodka. With spring only a matter of days away, the announcement of Smirnoff Vodka’s new Smirnoff Sorbet Light comes at an absolutely perfect time. The lower calorie line comes in a variety of flavors and is only 78 calories per 1.5 oz. serving so you can skip a crunch or two the next time you hit up your local gym.
“SMIRNOFF Sorbet Light is the next flavor experience for those women who strive to lead a balanced lifestyle, but never at the expense of delicious cocktails,” said Sandhya Padmanabhan, Brand Manager for SMIRNOFF. “Today’s multifaceted woman inspired SMIRNOFF to think differently and create a product that would make guilt free, delectable drinks that truly embody the refreshingly light taste of sorbet.”
The refreshing trio of flavors available in Smirnoff’s new line include Smirnoff Sorbet Light Raspberry Pomegranate, Smirnoff Sorbet Light Mango Passion Fruit, and Smirnoff Sorbet Light Lemon. If you’re interested in getting your hands on Smirnoff Sorbet Light, you can purchase a bottle for only $15.99.
Also, for all my Atlantan’s (and anyone else with great weather this weekend), how perfect would a Smirnoff Sorbet Light cocktail be during this amazing weekend we have coming up?

I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned this before, but I’m the type of gal who can easily enjoy a piping hot cup of hot chocolate (preferably spiked) during the sultriest of summer days and ice cream in the dead of winter. With that being said I really couldn’t pass up on posting these summer-friendly SVEDKA vodka recipes in one of the coldest months there is. So cover yourself up in about three of your favorite Snuggie’s and indulge in some icy, Lushworthy goodness courtesy of SVEDKA.

Would it be too predictable to say that Grey Goose’s Le Voyage started with a cocktail? Probably, right? Well, Le Voyage technically started with a picturesque ride through the French countryside to get from Paris to the Picardy region of France. It was a relaxing two-hour ride to Picardy and I was dealing with a bit of jet lag, but despite the snooze-worthy setting I couldn’t help but take in a bit of scenery while traveling to Picardy. There’s tons of fields and other greenery, but you really don’t get a sense of how grand everything is until you’re actually out of the car. The vividness of everything hits you. The grass is an eye-popping green, the sky is a bright, inviting blue and the air just seems sooo much fresher than it does in the states. But enough with that flowery description, on to the Grey Goose cocktails!
Upon arriving at Chateau de Barive we checked in and were immediately greeted by Grey Goose global ambassador Ludo Miazga who served as our guide to the world of Grey Goose for the three days we were in France. After we returned from a short break Ludo whipped up a couple of Grey Goose “Le Fizz” cocktails while we waited for the rest of the group to arrive. When you’ve been traveling all day “Le Fizz” really is the ultimate cocktail. Made using Grey Goose Vodka, Elderflower Cordial, fresh lime juice, and club soda it’s addictively refreshing.
EFFEN Vodka was sure to make its presence known at New York Fashion Week earlier this month. The super-premium vodka was spotted at a number of fashion week functions including events from Zac Posen, BCBG, Derek Lam, Bespoken, and more. On top of that EFFEN Vodka received rave reviews from designers like Phillip Lim who had this to say about the liquor: “EFFEN Vodka, tastes as good as it looks in the bottle!” EFFEN Vodka comes in a variety of flavors including Original, Black Cherry, Cucumber, and Dutch Raspberry and retails for $29.99. Once you get your hands on a bottle of EFFEN be sure to try one of these cocktails served at their fashion week events.

Stolichnaya will be adding to their already extensive vodka portfolio this fall with the release of Stoli Chocolat Razberi. I think it’s pretty interesting that Stoli chose to combine two different flavors, chocolate and raspberry, for their newest flavor. Either way it sounds like quite the mouth-watering combination and a perfect fall liquor.
“Consumers’ palates are more complex than ever and they’re looking for exciting flavor combinations that transcend the everyday. With the introduction of Chocolat Razberi, our first vodka to combine two delicious flavors, Stoli is very happy to deliver an exciting and, in this case, decadent taste experience,” said Jill Palais, Senior Brand Manager – Stolichnaya, William Grant & Sons, in a statement.
Be on the lookout for Stoli Chocolat Razberi when it’s released in October of this year. Prices for Stoli’s latest addition will be as follows: 750mL (SRP $23.99), 1L (SRP $31.99), 1.75mL (SRP $41.49). Stay tuned for drink recipes as we get closer to the launch of Stoli Chocolat Razberi.
